MyUFHealth, previously known as MyChart, offers secure online access to certain parts of patients’ medical records. MyUFHealth is not your legal, medical record. Instead, MyUFHealth allows you to securely access the Internet to manage and obtain information about your health. MyUFHealth allows you to use the Internet to manage many aspects of your health.

MyUFHealth is a free service for patients treated in the UFHealth network in Gainesville or Jacksonville hospitals, UF Health Physicians clinics, Gainesville, Jacksonville and Central Florida.

Epic Systems offers MyChart, a smartphone app. To access your MyUFHealth account, you can download the MyChart app and use it. For assistance with this app, contact your clinic. Download the MyChart mobile application at:

You must be at least 12 years old and a current patient of UF Health to sign up for MyUFHealth. A valid email address and age are required. Access to MyUFHealth requires a computer with an Internet connection and a browser that is up to date. You also need a mobile device capable of running the MyChart mobile app.

To sign up for MyUFHealth, patients can use an activation number. An activation code for MyUFHealth may have been sent via email before your appointment or printed in your discharge paperwork or visit summary. Signing up with your activation code is the easiest way. You can also sign up if you don’t have an activation number. Adults who are currently UF Health patients can sign up for self-signup. You will need to verify your identity with a third-party system as part of the self-signup.

You can communicate with your provider using MyUFHealth once enrolled in MyUFHealth. This will allow regular medical information to be shared between you and your provider. Information can also be sent using other methods, such as telephone or mail.

Once the final results are available, most outpatient test results will be displayed in your MyUFHealth Account. After you leave, test results for ED visits and inpatient stays will appear in your MyUFHealth account.

If your test results contain the following message: This test result was sent through your MyUFHealth account via an automated procedure. If you have any concerns, you should contact your provider. This means that the test result was sent to you in a timely manner to aid in receiving your results promptly. If you have questions about your test results, contact your provider.

You can contact your provider, or call Customer Service through MyUFHealth including the test names that you cannot take.

Testing conducted by a UF Health facility and resulted in the Epic EMR software may be made available through MyUFHealth regardless of the service provider that ordered it.

Yes, you can view a family member’s health record when they allow access. This is known as proxy access.

It permits an adult to log in to their own MyUFHealth account and later link to the MyUFHealth account of a parent or adult child.

Family members can request access via proxy during their next clinic visit or use the Share My Record to Share My Records feature to provide you with a proxy invite.

After you’ve been granted proxy access, you can log into your proxy account by clicking their name on the web website or mobile application. Proxy access can be granted in a limited capacity if you have the proper documents.

It is possible to reset your password online by clicking the “Forgot password” link on the MyUFHealth login page.

After verifying that you have logged in using your username and birthday date of birth, zip code and date of birth, you will receive a unique security code that will confirm your identity before allowing the reset of your password.

Your account will be deactivated when you try to log in using an invalid password more than five times. You must call the clinic during regular clinic hours to request that your account be reactivated.

The UF Health network strives to make sure that your health information remains private and safe. Access to data is controlled by password-protected activation codes, personal ID’s and passwords.

Every person is responsible for their password and your account is not accessible without the password. Furthermore, MyUFHealth uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology that does not use caching, and automatically encrypts your sessions with MyUFHealth.

Unlike traditional e-mails, most MyUFHealth messages are sent while you’re securely logged into the MyUFHealth website. Although you might receive Internet email messages informing you of any new messages in Your MyUFHealth Inbox emails will not contain private medical information.
